Your Fishing Guide

About your Captain of Kingfisher Adventures Guide Service:

Pro fishing guide, Coast Guard, CPR/First Aid trained & certified.  Self employed business owner of 18 years.

Hi, I’m Jerry, owner/operator of Kingfisher Adventures.  I am an avid outdoors-man who has been fishing my whole life, it is my passion in life.  I live it, I love it, & I know it.  I love teaching people to catch fish.  I grew up on the banks of the Deschutes River in Central Oregon fishing almost every day.  I moved to SW Washington 20 years ago & now split my time living between Washougal, WA in the gorge, Woodland, WA on the Lewis River, and on the banks of the Nushagak River in Alaska.  My motto is fished where the fish are.  I have fished all over the world & the Columbia River Gorge & tributaries are some of the best fishing and most scenic areas in the world.!!.

I spend thousands of hours fishing, filming, scuba diving, & exploring the Columbia River & tributaries each year.  I fish for Bass, Walleye, Salmon, Steelhead, Sturgeon, Trout, Kokanee & Muskie.  I have learned to feel & understand the lives & patterns of these fish through a lifetime of living with them.  I am a Coast Guard & CPR/First Aid certified guide in Alaska, Washington, & Oregon.  I am a licensed & bonded corporation in Washington & Oregon.

Kingfisher Adventures employs many different methods of fishing to sit the conditions and the anglers abilities, including back bouncing, back trolling, trolling, casting hardware, bobber fishing, side drifting baits, jigging and fly fishing. If you want to learn to fish any species with various tactics, I’ve mastered most of them (I also know how to operate a business).

It is always a great day on the water, whether fighting fish, viewing abundant wildlife, taking pictures of your day, and enjoying the company of family, friends, your guide & friend.  Call now for a great adventure, (360) 518-1803.
